Taught by uniformed police officers in the classroom, D.A.R.E. informs young people the truths of drug abuse as well as the importance of alternatives to drugs and violent activities like sports, youth groups and academics.
There are over 50,000 D.A.R.E. officers in over 43 countries around the world. Over 70% of schools in Kentucky have D.A.R.E. as a part of the educational process.
